FIND THE STUDIO
Tell me what belongs on your wall.
MAGSART LLC runs its studio from a quiet home above Carrigan Circle. Whether a collector wants a private painting, a family needs sittings, or a learner wants a studio class, the conversation starts here and usually ends with a canvas in hand.

Studio hours
Tuesday to Friday — 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with sittings and tours arranged on the hour.
Saturday — 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for class families and weekend pickups; seasonal showing weekends extend these hours.
Sunday and Monday — the bench rests and the phone reads messages. Replies still go out within two working days for anything left on voicemail or email.
June through August the studio shortens midweek to protect the light for outdoor plein air work, but the calendar always shows available slots for in-person sittings around the plein air schedule.
Most single-canvas commissions run four to ten weeks from an approved sketch. A twelve-inch study can land in three weeks, while a forty-inch canvas with glazing wants the full ten to let each coat dry honestly. Sittings add their own pace because the subject controls the arc, and busy families usually finish a portrait across six to eight weeks with sittings spaced a fortnight apart. Rush delivery is only promised when a drying schedule will not compromise the paint film.
No prior painting experience is expected in childrens or adult lapping sessions. The studio method starts with materials handling, then shape recognition, and only reaches full color once a participant is comfortable. Kids as young as six join the junior group with no equipment beyond a curious mind, and adults who have never held a brush leave their first workshop with a finished study that has a home on their fridge or wall. Progression simply follows confidence.
You are encouraged to. Tuesday through Friday afternoons are open for a look at the bench, the brush jar, and finished canvases leaning in the rack, with no pressure to book. It costs nothing to see the method in person, and many of the best commissions begin as a chat over a warm cup while watching the palette demonstration.
